Montserrat Cabré, Spain/Spanien
Montserrat Cabré teaches history of medicine and history of science at the Universidad de Cantabria, Santander, Spain, where she has founded a women's studies program. Since 1986, she has been a member of Duoda, Center for Research on Women, Universidad de Barcelona, where she teaches a course in the Online MA Program on Studies on Sexual Difference, and in the MA Program in Women's Studies. She has undertaken research at various European and North American universities. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Spanish Association for Women's History. She has published extensively on the history of medieval women and the history of women's thinking, and is particularly interested in methodological issues regarding women's studies.
