Mag.a, geb. 1979, Studium der Soziologie in Graz und Waterloo (Kanada). Als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin im Spezialforschungsbereich "Moderne" an der Universität Graz beschäftige ich mich mit "Identität und Alterität von MuslimInnen in Österreich um 1900 und um 2000", außerdem arbeite ich an meiner Dissertation zur Situation junger Erwachsener der sogenannten "2. Generation" in Immigrantenfamilien aus mehrheitlich muslimischen Ländern. Dementsprechend interessiere ich mich besonders für Fragen der Interkulturalität und der Partizipation von Frauen verschiedener kultureller bzw. religiöser Herkunft in Europa.
Mag.a, born in 1979, studied Sociology in Graz (Austria) and Waterloo (Canada). Within the research project on "Modernity" at the University of Graz im working on "Identity and Alterity of Muslims in Austria around 1900 and 2000", and in my dissertation I focus on the current situation of young adults of the so called "2nd generation" in immigrant-families from muslim countries. Therefore I am especially interested in questions on interculturality and participation of women with different cultural and religious backgrounds in Europe.
